1. what right wife have on husband immovable property during his life time and after death?

2. After lapse of how much time/period does the acquired property by inheritence becomes ancestral property?

it depends upon whether the husband has written a will or not. husband may dispose his property during his life time by gift or sale and by will after his death.

wife will have right if the husband dies without a will

no time is prescribed nor is required. ancestral property is the one which is not self acquired and which one gets through inheritance
