Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
In or around 35 years back, my Husbands Grandfather bought 1000 sq. ft. (approx.) house in Mumbai undger pagadi system. He died 30 years back Since then we get rent receipts, Electricity Bill in grandfathers name till date. His Grandmother is also died. My Father-in-Law (FIL) have 3 younger brothers and 2 sisters (other legal heirs). At present only one brother is staying in that house. Ration Card is registered in my FILs name and we have got our Voter-ID Cards and we are not any other documents in our and/or other legal heirs name.
My question is
1. How can we prove our ownership of the house?
2. What are the documents required?
3. How much time it will take?
