Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Since 25 years I am staying in Pagdi room. My building is nearly 40 years old and has not been repaired single time. When we asked landlord to pay 50% of the repair cost of the building she refused. Some Devlopers are interested in redevloping our building but my landlord is asking for Too Much. Is there any other way either to get it repair or to redevlop.

Stop paying rent and ask him to renovate first. As per law you are authorised for repair and owner cannot refuse it.

Redevelopment is matter of mutual understanding and cannot be imposed.
