Accusing a member of having water pump

dear sir,we as residents of a chs are constantly being accused of having water pump even though we don't have one.What legal course can i as a member take

You as a resident member of the co-operative housing society(CHS) have every right to take action against the persons accusing of anything that is false.You may straightaway issue a legal notice through some advocate to the department which is accusing.

1) You may please explain what is chs ?

2) what is the form of accusation and by whom ?

You may take necessary legal action by sending a legal notice through a lawyer and may eventually file appropriate proceedings in a local court of your area.

Under civil law, you can sue for damages for unfounded accusations.
