Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I need a Address proof. I m from UP and working here as assistant manager in IDBI bank and staying here in a rented house. I decided to buy a Car but I dont have any address proof so can you suggest me if there is any way out through Affidavit which work as an affidavit..
