Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Advice needed.

My brother is paying house tax & other bills for the property standing in my name in muncipality records. there is a pending court case about the real ownership of the property i.e to say who is the real owner of the property( me or my father). I M not paying any taxes on advise of my lawyer who guided me'' NO NEED TO '' pay unless the issue of ownership is setteled by court. Whether tax payment etc. ,( although in my name,) by my brother will be harmful to my case for deciding ownership in my name.?

You need to consider this aspect in the light of your case in its entirety and not in isolation.
