Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My aged father propose to appoint me as a representative to file a family partition suit and look after it on behalf of him and so he likes to give me unregistered irrevocable power of attorney. My question is a)can my father cancel the same during the case is in proceeding and conducting by me? And after his death the same power of attorney is enough to continue the case?

a. Such power of attorney can be cancelled at any time.

c. Such power of attorney ceases to exist on death of your father.
