Amnesty Stamp Duty

iam going to approach the Stamp Duty Office for paying stamp duty under the Amnesty Scheme.

Shall i have to take the Original Agreement alongwith me to ascertian the stamp duty amount or should i take only the xerox copy? please advise as iam confused and dont want to take any risk of submitting the Original without proper knowledge

Please refer to the Maharashtra Government website, which has published the amnesty scheme. Visit this website for further details (http://igrmaharashtra.gov.in/scheme1.aspx) for the documents to be carried.

The stamps duty is to be affixed on original document. You may carry with you a photocopy for the purposes of assessment.
