For analysing the correct title of a property what all things are required other than encumbarance certificate..How can we know whether the property is pledged with some bank or if there is a case running on the property

in case the property is pledged, the original documents would also be deposited. in case there is a suit pending, you need to hire a lawyer to check the status of the case, whether there is any suit or stay in the court.
