ancestral property
my grandfather had built a house in mumbai. he had 5 children. he put the propery in the name of my father when he was minor and in 7/12 extract.now the property is in my fathers name.
my father now wants to gift the property to me. i am his only child.
is he allowed to do so by law and whether it is necessary to obtain noc from my fathers sisters.

I think i have explained you in detail that the property becomes self acquired for your father. He can dispose it off the way he wishes to do. He does not need any NOC from any one.
