Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
We have ancestral property in Rajasthan its in my great grand mothers name, we want to change it to my fathers name.
My great grandmother had only one son i.e my grandfather and my grandfather had 1 son i.e my father and 5 duaghters.
Both my grandfather and grandmother passed away without any will, can you please help me with procedure to get property converted to my father's name

The property should be transferred in the name of your father and his sisters in equal shares. Your father would thus have only one sixth share. Any of the legal heirs may approach the local authorities with death certificate for change in name of ownership.
