please ans me 4 this its me raju advocate as advocate i registered property in sub register office after 3 days i suppose to hand over the document to my client but in sale deed i lost a one page that's too last page [original ] now i am unable to give the same and that page is important page there vendor buyer two witness signature is there along with the sub register seal ......... now the vendor is ready to re register the same in favor of my client ..........1] shall i take certified copy and give? 2] shall i do cancellation deed and make new sale deed ...? or 3] any other legal way is there to get last page of the sale deed ? what is ur suggestion ... because i done a mistake that i lost last page of the sale deed .................

you may check with the registrar. in case he agrees, you may have to buy the last page of stamp papers again and the entire sale deed may be registered again. otherwise, if he objects, you might have to go for cancellation of present one and re register the same.

Do a confirmation on minimum stamp and registration by attaching certified copy of the sale deed containing all the pages.

In this confirmation, you may state that last page of original sale deed is lost or misplaced and therefore parties are doing this registered confirmation to confirm and reiterate the sale deed.
