Answer required.
My father purchased property in name of my brother from his (father) resources. IS this a HUF property or a Benami property.? Father with his family is in possession, but my said brother is not living there.

One need to check the sale deed, income tax returns of your father, his brother and their HUF before coming to any conclusion.

Please contact personally alongwith the following documents OR you may get checked the following documents as to know what nature of property it is :
(1) Form No. 7 x 12
(2) Sale Deed in lieu to the property.
(3) Index-II
(4) Income tax returns of your father.
