Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
we belong to the hindu mitkshara family. my grandfather before his death divided his property in between all his 3 sons. my father was given some property . Now my father before his death gifted one of the said property to me i.e. his younger son. the gift was in knowledge of my elder brother( we are two brothers) . On one fateful day my father passed away. I was enjoying the said property. now after 11 years my elder brother has filled a suit saying that ancestral property cannot be gifted. can someone please help me. can someone plz site some realted cases wherein i can win .

You need to decide your defence by taking into account pleadings of the suit filed against you.
