Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

i belong to a joint family in thane.we have a ancestral property which was owned by great grandfather.presently it is looked after by my eldest uncle.I'm the daughter of youngest brother in the family.Now my uncle wants us to be removed from the property.All our finances are in his hands.we are in a very bad state.most of the relatives are telling me uncle cannot do anything like this,Can you please help me?what suggestion would you give me regarding my further step?i'm very tensed and confused about this matter.please help me.thank you.

Check names in which property is held.

If property stand in the names of all members of the joint family, then your uncle alone can not do anything for sale thereof.
