Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Belongs to christian orthodox fsmily. I am married daugter, my father have almost five acres of land and properties (anscestral) we are four children elder to me :one brotherand two sisters younger to me. My father is government employre so he is earning by him self and no need of help from anybody me and my brothet married and have kids but younger two sisters are students. My fathet did not gave dowery only gifted some gold accessories. I want to know wheater i jave any rigjt to get share from my father.y husband sfamily is not financially wellsettled. My father is alive and not givimg anything even he knows my financial problems. I want to know is there is any xhance to get something as my share my fathet even he will not ready to give me anything.because my ancesteral property is it .

Earlier answer was based on Hindu Law. Now you have stated that you are Christian. Indian Succession Act would apply. If your father dies intestate then you shall get a share in your fathers property.
