Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Boundary
Hello Sir,
I am staying in a approved gram panchayat layout in hyderabad. Our gated community lay out consists of only 6 plots ,all facing towards east in a row with 30 feet road in front (the road ends at the last plot of our layout and no others are using this road)and we do have plots on the other side of road which come under other layout. But in these plots, houses are constructed facing east instead of facing west. But now people want to keep the gates at their back side also and use the road. can you suggest me in what way we should proceed to restrict them in using our road.

Re: Boundary
If it is a common or public road, you can not restrict. If it is a private road exclusively owned and belong to you, then only you may restrict, subject to easementary rights accrued, if any.
Re: Boundary
You may not stop people from using a public road. They may be equally entitled to use the road as it may not be your private property.
