Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
We are three brothers and five sisters and our father expired in 1996 well before the 2005 amendment of Hindu succession act came in to force.We have our family house where one of my brother continued to stay after the death of my fathers, Three of my sisters are married and are well settled.the two are retired government official and are financially well off.Now we are planing to partetion the family house (Nalgonda, AndhraPradesh). Do my sisters have the equal share in the family house.They were given ample dowry and other properties at the time of marriage.
