Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

we are three brothers and two sisters having a very very property in kolkata with equal rights and ownership.

we want to develop the property through a building developer/promotor. but one co-owner only out of five does not agree which is stopping us/the promotor from developing the old property into a new one.

we contacted a developer/promotor who is ready to develop the property and also ready to negotiate with the co-owner, the one who is creating problems, and make him agree. The building developer wants one power of attorney to be given to him for talking to the coowner and make him agree. is it possible to give him a power of attorney for this purpose signed by four of us.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Although there is no harm in giving the developer a power of attorney to negotiate the proposal with the owner who is dissenting, it is advisable that all the co-owners who agree to the development try and themselves convince the objecting owner to agree to the development stating that it is in the benefit of all.
