Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I wish to buy a plot from a Registered Power of Attorney Holder. it was registered with sub registrar office on 12-7-2011. While getting EC from Sub-registrar office, it was not reflected in the EC. Now i want to get the conveyance deed from the PA holder. How can I know the POA is still in force?

The Supreme Court has recently declared that a Conveyance Deed cannot be executed through PoA, unless the PoA holder is a close relative of the original owner.
You should purchase the property directly from original owner.

Inquire with the Principal i.e. person who granted power of attorney.
