Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

In case of cracks/leakages being developed in my apartment due to renovation work in the neighboring flat in the same society, what are my rights and what actions can be taken ?

We are a registered CHS in maharashtra.

Your cause of action is to be found in law of torts. This law is very much prevalent in Europeon and American countries. Under this law, one can obtain compensation for any damage caused to him due to negligence on the part of other person when the other person owe a duty to care. There are many cases on torts decided by Indian courts where the courts have awarded compensation. You may find such cases by searching on google.
