Change of Name in Property Tax

I purchased a flat in 2006 from first owner [Not from Builder].

Society formed in the yr 2008. Now I have recd property tax bill from MBMC in the name of first owner. Now to change name in records I require NOC. Please guide me who will issue NOC {Builder or Society}.

Society asking me to submit agreement copy plus transfer charges. Builder is not ready to do the same. Need your guidence in this regard

You may contact the local authority and get your name changed in connection to the Index II.

You need to fill up a form and attach copy of your document/index-ii for change in the name.

Such form can be obtained from MBMC Main Office or Ward Office.

Normally, the Society should be competent and you may need to comply with its requirements. However, you may better approach the MBMC for proper guidance; and may meanwhile, deposit the tax amount 'subject to all just exceptions'.
