Change of surname in co-op hsg society

My wife had bought a flat before marriage in her marital name. Now post marriage she wants to change the surname.

What is the step for the same?

She needs to execute an affidavit first for the change of surname and then proceed with the bye-laws of the society.

She is required to execute an affidavit before executive magistrate and thereafter she is required to give a public notice in daily news paper and accordingly notice to society and ragistrar giving intimation of change in surname.
