Claim of right in the property by the daughter of the family
We are a hindu family consisting of my Inlaws,my husband,myslef the daughter inlawand myhusbands elder sister who is due to be married by end of this year. my Father in law is alive , the issue is my father in law sold a site in blore this site was given to him by his brother as his brother inherited the house which my FIL 's father had built. on sympathy grounds my FIL was given a site which was originally owned by his younger brother . My FIL was going thru financial crunches hence he had taken some loan on that site and once me and my husband got married we wanted to free the land so we went ahead and took personal loan to free the land and also with my FIL permission and decision helped him sell the property and we got 39 lakhs as proceeds, out of which we set aside 5 lakhs in FD for the daughters marriage, paid her Medical postgraduation fees and cleared all loans taken for her education , got jewellery for her close to1.2 lakhs, after all this my father in law was left with around 20 lakhs which he invested in a apartment and me and my husband took a loan of 23 lakhs inorder to buy this apartment. which means right now my FIL, my husband and me are the co owners of the house. Nowdaughter is ask her right,howmuchdo v owe her

Whether the site coming to your FIL from his younger brother is an ancestral property or not doubtful.
Even if same is regarded as the ancestral property, it was sold for meeting loans, which can be regarded as legal necessity.
Pl consult your lawyer with all the detail for proper advice.

Your statement is confusing and contradictory. Please re-state your facts clearly, possibly in chronological order. How was the property inherited by your FIL's brother? how much loan was taken by in the first place ? Please complete your statement for appropriate opinion/guidance.
