Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Can i claim share in my grandfather's property? My grandfather died 2 yrs. back & in his Will (attested by sub-registrar many years back) has left his self acquired property in the name of his younger 2 sons but denied my father any right in this property.
My father has been staying separately from his parents & brothers for most of his married life. There is no written proof that my father has helped my grandparents financially though i think he has. Now my father is also very unwell & i need money for his treatment. Though i am doing a small time private job and stay in my father's house, can i claim my father's share in grandfather's property from my uncles on grounds of medical help?? What are the chances i will win the case & how many years will it take to sort out issues in court??

as suggested earlier, you should meet a lawyer with all the documents and it is to be ascertained as to who is in the possession of property and what was the nature of property and how your uncle has usurped your father's share.
If Will is legal, valid and proper, then you may not succeed. You may take your chance.
Your chances are bright , you are suppose to file a suit for partition of your grand fathers property(ies) before the court and challenging the validity of the will.
