Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Clear cut reply needed.

I purchased property in the name of my son, however, by own funds & also takes the possession myself. Is it a sham transation , very much legal, or is IT a benami transation, totally illegal , in the eyes of law? CLEAR CUT ANSWER IS EXPECTED WITHOUT ANY IFS & BUTS. REGARDS.
