Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi , My colony is an old society which is now going under re development. here there are three groups of people 1. Tenants . 2. Occupants and 3.Share holders . . what has happened now is that the society has been sold to the builders without much consent from the tenants and occupants at very unreasonable / unfair terms .

Tenants are people staying in the colony as members of the society.

Occupants are families staying in the colony since 1972 , but were not made official members of the housing society , although all their Bills, Ration cards, rent receipts etc. are true with the correct address.

Now what can we do to get fair terms from the builders? the builders have already occupide the society office !!

Please guide.

There cannot be sale of society property in the manner stated by you and if such sale has taken place, then same would be illegal.

Take necessary legal action.
