common passage
My brother and i have a property acquired through partition, where there is a common passage.Now what should i do to seek a complete separtation of the property.

It depends......like if the common passage is the only passage, then that will remain as the common passage....it will be an easement.

As far your question is concerned I will say that common passage will be treated as an easement at this stage.

If you have mutual understanding and rules of local authority permitting, execute and register a partition deed.
Else, file a suit for partition.
