Can a displaced person make a WILL of his property which he got under Compensation and Rehabilitation act 1954 under Appendix XXIV rule 91(8) section 33, '' Deed of Conveyance in the case of Free-Hold Properties which are sold otherwise than by Public Auction.''

If the property in question was received in lieu of ancestral property left in Pakistan, this property will be treated as 'ancestral' and a will may not be legal. However, if the property has been received in lieu of self-acquired property in Pakistan, the holder may be entitled to execute a will.
