Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I need consultation and legal help regarding an issue -

I own commercial space in a complex. It is currently vacant and I havnt got time to look after the property.

I have been paying property tax regularly

However, I noticed that on property tax papers, that a unknown person appears as first owner. I do not know this person.

I looked up old tax papers, this has been happening for last 3 years (I own the property for 10 years)

Can you please advise if this is possible without owner being aware of?

I am ready to pay for complete advice/legal help needed.

No, that is not legally "Permissible". there is a possibility you raised any loan against this property. you may write e-mail with complete details.

it may be so that the mutation has not been done in your name. however, you may consult a lawyer in person or through mail and send all the relevant documents for better opinion.
