this one is in CO-OP COURT in mumbai.

The socty filed a suit for recovery of OUTSTANDING as MOTHLY MAINTAINANCE CHARGES;which according to a [defaulting ]? member have paid & he is not a defaulter.As per the INTERIM ORDERS he has deposited the xx amnt in COURT.Now during Final Hearing the jodge has asked me to produce RECEIPTS to PROVE. Since the case /despute originated in 1997;he do not have All the RECEIPTS but can Produce BANK STATEMENT as EVIDENCEWill it be acceptable to the Judge ?[as a rule /law].kindly reply so that to prapere accordingly.

yes bank statement shall be admissible in evidence to prove the payment. does those entries tally with the maintainance amount claim or else how would you show that the payment shown in bank statement was towards maintainance and not any thing else.
