Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Dear Respected Gentlemen

I live in a rental premises with wife & 2 kids. Premises is in name of My grandfather.

My Grandmother, Mother, Father had expired. Father had 6 sisters all alive.

I have 3 sisters all alive.

What is the requirements & procedure to get the premises in my name.

The landlord is a bit squeaky, cause we had a litigation of other premises with him which I settled on his terms. He shows he is OK with me but yet asks for release deed or relinquishment deed or POA in favour of me. What is your advise. Thanks in advance.

u want the tenanacy to be transferred in your name? than ask your grand father for release deed in your favour .and get it signed . and also get it registered .as u r in mumbai contact a local lawyer who is well versed with tenancy laws there.
