Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Dear Sir / Madam,
We live in Bhendi Bazaar area in an old tenanted building. Off Late you must be aware that this area has gone under cluster developement by Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust.
This trust is in the process of taking consents of all Tenants residing across all tenancy buildings as well as from the Landlords.
While taking signatures on Consent Letter, this trust is not providing any details on where will be the transit accomodation or rent amount given to stay in such transit area. Also they are not divulging information about where the new & proposed Flat will be provided (which location - in same area, inclose vicity or anywhere as per there comfort). Also in which new Building's wing or floor etc is not provided in lieu of our current accomodation..
Can you tell us what should we do in this case?
Also if they have taken signatures on consent letter thru forgery from Head of the Family who is not litrate and just knows signing in native language, how can that be challenged? Such cases have being reported to us by various community members, not sure whether that is true but whatif that has happened, we seek your guidance in that?
Matter is most urgent, urgent response is awaited.

One should know all the details before hand and before signing. If someone is/was made to sign by some deception or incorrect information, then he/she should take necessary legal action.
