Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Dear Sir,

Here now i would like to explore my situation,we had total of 7800sqft of land half of land i.e 3900 sqtf was sold to Builder by my Sister immediately after my grand father sad demise,since i was Govt servant I could not afford to Visit Corporation,Improvement Trust etc during office hours with the builder.So the Builder has made power of attorney (which i can scan and show it to u)and took signature while i was on duty so i simply signed the same without thinking of consequences in future.On 3900 sqft Land Builder has constructed 9 Apts of 800 Sqft and One of 900 Sqft = Total of 8100 sqft.Now I want to Rebuild my Own House / Sell the land.So people are telling me with the help of power of attorney given by me he has Cheated me and Used my Land FSI also and that land cant be sold to anyone since on that land any purchaser will not be able to construct anything?Thereafter with all grape wine I managed to Hire an Lawyer through him I ve Cancelled Power of attorney by publishing in news paper and sending him legal Notice to which he has not Replied untill today.Now my lawyer is giving all sorts of possibilities instead of solving the issue he is making all possible excuses i.e will have to file civil suit against Builder,then will have to request Magistrate to Cancel power of attorney with his spl Powers then will be able to sell the land and so on.......

So many people has come and asked me if my property is clear they are ready to buy the same/even i can construct my house.....

I m not able to trust any more lawyers since this was third lawyer whom i had hired!!!!Now if u can Help / advice me ..I really hope now my problem is clear for u.

Negligence always cost a lot. If the FSI or entire land has been consumed by the builder on the part of land sold by your sister with your GPA, then remaining land may not have any worth.

Before consulting lawyers, try to get all the details and information, particularly whether FSI used was of remaining plot owned by you or by way of TDR and like.
