Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Dear Sir,
I have decided to buy a plot for construction on house near Vijayawada.
This area comes under mandal panchayat.
In the survey number provided by owner,
He is the owner of the complete land in the survey number about an acre is in his name.
He got that land as ancestral property, via partition deed on white paper dated 1969.
He has divided that region into plots and selling the plots.
He has two children.
He has provided EC certificate and it is also on his name.
Can you please suggest me what are the documents that I should request him.

You may consider obtaining a "title search report" about the property from the local lawyer.
