Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Dear Sir

I Gopal 35 years old living in Bangalore , 1 year back my parents and myself shifted to rented house as we were renovating our Own house , the owner of the house started Torching us by stopping basic amenities like Water , sometimes scolding my 5 year old son for not closing Gate , complaining about my father for giving a bucket of water to a person in need of water etc , 2 days back the owner asked us to vacate the house in 15 days (Our agreement has been expired 5 months back) , I told we cant vacate in 15 days , we need 2 months Time , Owner has sent a Notice through Lawyer . we need 2 months to vacate as our own house renovation will be completed.

Please let me know how to deal with this case.

Relax. Let him file a case for eviction or possession against you and once the court sends you the summons you can tell the court that you would vacate the premises in 6 months time and as it is it would take 6 months for court to take action against you .So you can easily vacate the premises within 6 months .
