Legal Question in Real Estate Law in
dear Sir/madam,
my father purchased a property 30x40 in1990 through a gpa holder and been registered at that time we have paid the tax as well , now the the gpa holder who sold the property is dead, we are about to lay the foundation and now the land owner is obstructing to our work , he says the gpa holder has to give him the money .
we have the absolute sale deed & property tax.
kindly let me know what i have to do in this kind of situation. please help

if GPA holder has not paid the amount to the owner, it is between GPA holder (now his legal heirs) and the land owner. In fact you were to make the payment in the name of the owner but if you paid cash reflected in the sale deed then your sale is not bad
