Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Dear Sir/Madam

One of my friend he stays at Virar has lost his original Property Agreement which was entered between the builder and himself on 25.04.2002. The said Agreement was lost on 08.01.2010. The said Agreement was not an registered agreement. He has already informed the police about the lost of his Property Agreement on 08.01.2010.

I would like your expert advice on that what should he do ?

He should come to this forum and ask for advice . What was the police investigation on the lost document ? Why cant he ask the Builder to draft another agreement back dated to be executed between them now ? please clarify.

Enter into appropriate writing of confirmation or other suitable indenture with builder.
