Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are in the process of selling our house which is under my Grand Father's name. My question is Can my Grand Father give the money instead of my father to me directly. Reason is my father had filed Bankcruptcy in 1997 so since then he does not have any bank account.
Or can my Grand Father give that money to my mother instead?
Any assistance will be higly appreiciated.

Your Grand Father can do anything with his money as the he is the owner of the house. He can give his money to you or to any one , he wishes or he keep the same to himself.

Under general law, a person can give his/her own money to anybody he/she wish.
Consult your CA with regard to taxation aspects and act accordingly.
