what is the difference between an agent & a POA holder?

now a days one has to pay full stamp duty in case of the sale of land matter if you appoint a POA holder. can it beavoided by appointing an agent instead of the POA holder?

An Agent and PoA Holder are one and the same.

It may not be proper to avoid payment of stamp duty.
