Re: division of ancestral property

issue a legal notice on all other legal heirs of your granny - (inclusive of daughters!) demand for a partition - then you can go in for a suit for partition and claim your share in the property!

Re: division of ancestral property

You are entitle for 1/4 share of your father's ancestral property, firstly got it transferred on your and other L.R;s name,if any(your father legal heirs) As stated by you that you have a possession of a room, which is locked for the last 15 years then also, nobody can stop or vacate you forcebily in that circumstances your uncle will be liable for criminal offence. If they refuse to give you the possession of 1/4 share then file a suit for partition.

Re: division of ancestral property

you need only file a suit for partition of the property and get your share in the same. You appear to be not in possession of the house. in that case you are required to pay court fee on the market value of your share.

Claim your father's share and if the same is not given to you then file a case of partition claiming your share of the property.
