Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Documents filed by pltff.

I m defendant in the suit 4 ownership of the property. Earlier The plaintiff has filed some documents in the court with the plaint. As the case progresed he found those documents 2 b going against him instead of helping him. Thus he has NOT got those documents exhibited/proved while leading his evidence. I have also closed my evidence. Now I FOUND THAT THOSE DOCUMENTS R OF MATERIAL 2 my defence. The suit is now fixed 4 final argument. Can I READ THESE DOCUMENTS IN MY EVIDENCE AGAINST THE PLAINTIFF.NEverthe less the plaintiff had himself filed those documents & r very much a part of the court record. or what is the remedy?

Proved documents can be read in evidence.

Explore re-opening of case and proving those documents.

The documents which are proved can be referred alongwith the evidence.

Contact a local lawyer and re-open the case on the basis of the documents which are proved.
