Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

As explained below is it an ancestral property and how much share can I expect from it and what are my legal right?

My grand father build a house in 1962. With god grace he is still there. He has 3 children. One son and two daughters. Daughters married almost 40 years back. They further have children and grand children.

My grand father's son is my father. He has two sons and one daughter. All are married and have two children each. My father brother and I still lives in same house. What if my grand father makes a will and does not gives any thing to me. Do my grand father daughters have any right? Please advice.

If your Grand father has built the house and is the owner then who told you that this an Ancestral property. This is not an Ancestral Property for your information but if your Grand Father dies intestate then this property becomes Ancestral for your children and not for you provided your father does not will this property to any one he wishes.

May be.

Check laws governing your grandfather and his properties and act accordingly.
