Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My family has inherited a land with a house through a Will in Secunderabad, AP. The Will also includes other heirs and beneficiaries. The Will has been registered. What is the legal process for me to go about selling the property and apportioning the proceeds accordingly to the respective heirs and beneficiaries?

Check whether any restriction on alienation are imposed under the Will or otherwise.

If there are no restriction, check whether Probate is necessary.

If probate is necessary, obtain a Probate from Court.

Have names of person inheriting the property entered in concerned records.

Proceed with alienation.

You need to get the Will probated, you need to make an application, in the District Court of your area.
