Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
my father has been alloted a plot by DDA in 2004 and due to money problem my father has taken a loan from a person and handed over the allotment letter and other documents to him and signed some stamp papers(may be blank),now the my father died leaving a registered will in my favour, now the person who loaned money to my father has come to our house and showed us the stamp papers on which 'GPA and Aggreement to Sell' were written dated may 2004, but those stamp papers bears no thumb impression and are not registerd only notrized and said on behalf of the above papers that your father has sold the plot to him and asked us to do the formalities regarding the mutation and lease since the lease was not executed, now I have lodge a FIR of lost papers, and made a public notice of lost papers in news paper ang get the certified copies of allotment letter etc.
I got the mutation done and lease executed and also made a public notice in news paper regarding mutation and now I am doing the formalities of free hold. Now I want to ask if that person goes to court how can he harras us and what can he demad from the court and what are our defence and what are our weakness.
