Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father bought a flat and the flat was owned in the name of my father as the Primary owner and my mother as the secondary owner.
Now after my fathers death, what is the procedure to transfer the flat in my mothers name(single ownership).

There is no primary or secondary ownership of a property .Your parents were the 50% owner of the flat. Your mother remains the 50 % owner of the flat and rest 50% of your father would go to all the legal heirs including your mother . All you legal heirs can relinquish there share in favour of your mother.
