Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father died in 2004 and he lost the orginal documents of our land ownership.Now we are three brothers and one sisiter and mother alive. How we can make the partition deed. What are the legal procedure we have to follow. we are hindus living in kerela.Please guide us.

If the land was in your father's name and the deeds are lost now, it is better to follow the certain notice procedure before entering into a partition deed or other deed for division of property.

you can apply for certified copies of the property and then execute a partition deed of the property.
