Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father died a month ago, due to some personal differences and anger he disowned me and my sister (both adult and unmarried) from his self acquired property three years back by issuing a public notice in 1 English medium newspaper and filing an application to SDM but i m not sure if it was officially gazetted. but 3 months back he realized his mistake and things got well between us. Unfortunately he died.
So are we legal heir to his property and if the procedure of disowning was duly done then can we question that thing.
there is no Will and no other legal heir.

Yes you are still the legal heirs of your fathers property as your father has died intestate.
