Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father inherited some agricultural land after my grandfather died. My father has since remarried and has some children from his second wife.My question is, on the assumption that my father prepares a will and leaves this land to his new wife and new kids, do his children from the first wife have a claim against this inherited property. If yes, how is this apportioned. Also,do the children have any right on this land while the father is alive or is this right only transferred after death.

All the children of your father will inherit equally. You may also claim your share during life time of your father by seeking partition of property through a local court.
