Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father look after some land property for cultivating crops.He got this property in relation to my grand mother.Grand mother had a brother .He was the sole owner of this property.He left India at the age of 20 years ,made business in Guatemala,Central America.and never came back and died.His son the legal and only heir of the property living in Guatemala gave one Power of Attorney to my father in 1963.All taxes are paid by my father but land is recorded in the name of the son of my grand mother's brother and mentioned as redent of America.My father died in 2006.We are still enjoying the proerty.We are 10 legal successors and my mother.How we can transfer the property in our name.Ae ahd no communication with any one in Central America and think the owner also died.Registerd letter adressed to Central America returned.What is the steps

Legal heirs of son of brother of your grand mother will now be the owner in succession. the power of attorney executed by son in favour of your father has become infructuous - meaningless because the executant son also assume to be dead. You may just carry on with the possession and enjoy it.
